Welcoming a new baby into the world is the most precious time ever but babies lose their squishy and cute newborn appearance very quickly after the first 3 weeks, and it is ever so important to treasure those moments and capture them forever.
Newborn photography is very different to normal portrait photography and requires a lot of skill, patience, training, experience, time and specialised equipment; therefore it is very important to choose a suitable photographer that specialists in newborn photography, to capture those moments for you. If this is what you are looking for, then you are in the right place.
Newborn sessions are best done between 6 and 21 days old as this is the time where the newborn is easiest to pose, curl up and stay asleep for longer. I recommend booking in your due date after the 12 week scan. I take on a limited number of due dater per month to ensure I can photograph every baby whether they arrive early or late!
I own a large selection of props such as hats, wraps and headbands and will find something to suit your needs and preferences. Your baby’s safety is my number 1 priority, the studio is always kept very warm and mum is always nearby. Your baby is never left in any dangerous positions and even though I can replicate any certain poses or use of baskets and props that you would like, those will not be done unless it is certain that baby is in deep sleep and it is safe to do them.

*All newborn sessions take place Monday to Friday with the earliest slot being 10am and latest being 2pm. If siblings/family members are unavailable during the week, you will be invited back for a short 20 minute slot on a Saturday for your sibling and family photos. This is included as part of the session fee.

Professional editing of 20-30 final images
A personal viewing and ordering appointment once your photos are ready to view. During this appointment you will view your final photos and choose which you would like to purchase. You are welcome to bring along any family to the appointment to help with your decision.
